Smarter filters
Paesti's filter sheet got a serious upgrade. You can now narrow the restaurant list by Michelin tier, specialty coffee, Bib Gourmand, or just what's currently open - and stack any of them together to answer questions other restaurant apps don't let you ask.
New specialty filters
- Michelin - filter by 1, 2, or 3 stars. Each tier is its own chip; tap any combination if you want "1-star or 2-star".
- Bib Gourmand - Michelin's "exceptional food at moderate prices" pick.
- Specialty coffee - cafés curated from sources like European Coffee Trip and SCA-certified roasters.
- Recommended - a broader pool of curated picks for when you want something good without committing to a tier.
Open now
The Open Now toggle shows only restaurants currently serving - computed live in each city's local timezone. A restaurant in Amsterdam at 22:00 won't show up for the same query from Lisbon, because the comparison is against the restaurant's local clock, not yours.
Why combinations matter
Michelin restaurants open right now is a question Paesti can answer in three taps. Google Maps shows you Michelin places but doesn't filter to currently open, and doesn't show prices. TripAdvisor lists everything in a long scroll; OpenTable is bookings-first. Paesti is the only one that lets you slice along all of these axes at once.
